Happy New Year everyone! We hope your new decade is off to a good start.

January has been an exciting start to the year for us at DPM.

We were nominated for two awards for the inaugural Canadian SME Business Awards. The first award was Best Small Business Up to 100 Employees and the second one is Best Place to Work.

The Canadian SME Business awards is design to recognize and applaud the contribution that small business owners provide for Canada’s economy.

We were honoured to be nominated for this national award program, especially for its inaugural year.

10 DPM staff members attended the awards gala at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre on January 28th. It was a formal affair that had our staff dressed to the 9s for the cocktail welcome reception followed by the awards ceremony.

We are pleased to announce that we were successful in both of our categories, which was a pleasant surprise seeing as this was a Canada wide program. We took the Top 2 spot for Best Small Business Up to 100 Employees and came home with the Top place for the Best Place to Work.

Both of these awards speak to the culture DPM has built, one that our employees fully embody and practice day in and day out. It is always nice to get dressed up and win an award, but the true prize is creating a family environment at work where everyone believes in it’s core values and allows it to flourish to new heights.
