Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures Summit and Gala

This past week we had the opportunity to celebrate and attend Waterstone Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures Summit and Gala.

Back in November we were named one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2020 and it was a huge honor for the entire DPM team.

Although this year’s event looked a little different than past years the DPM team had a great time learning and celebrating together. It was so unique to experience these events in a virtual space but Waterstone put on two great events.

First, we attended the Corporate Cultures Summit which was an afternoon filled with informational sessions and speakers and there was even an opportunity to network. Topics ranged from recruiting for fit to how to create a more inclusive culture and much more in-between. Each of these sessions featured different topics and speakers from a variety of companies as they shared their input. It was so valuable to listen in on these conversations and hear what these leaders had to say about their own cultures and organizations. There were numerous takeaways from these sessions, and we are eager to apply these to our own organization and culture.

Next, we attended the gala which was such a fun event that allowed all the winners to celebrate and showcase their company cultures. DPM was incredibly honoured to attend the event and be recognized alongside such amazing companies and individuals. Waterstone put on such a memorable event with a great host and entertainment and made the afternoon enjoyable for all! This event gave us the opportunity to not only celebrate our amazing family and culture but have others recognize the hard work that goes in to strengthen and maintain our DPM family.

Once again we are so honoured to be have been selected as one of Canada’s Most Admired Corporate Cultures for 2020! The DPM team had such a fun time attending both the Corporate Cultures Summit and Gala. We only hope we can continue to grow and strengthen our family.
