The Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure Project

The Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure Project

We hope everyone had a wonderful and safe Canada Day! We are enthusiastic to share our second corporate update as summer is officially in full swing and so are DPM’s projects!

The warm weather is encouraging everyone to be outside and we are pleased to see development on some of our larger scale projects.

This month began the official kick-off of the Finch West LRT project, and we know that all DPM’s staff will be working hard to bring this infrastructure project to life.

For this blog post, we have chosen to highlight our work on The Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure project in Toronto. The Port Lands is focusing on the redevelopment of bridges, roads, and municipal infrastructure. DPM is working with WSP and DTAH for this exciting development!

The Port Lands Flood Protection and Enabling Infrastructure Project is a comprehensive solution to flood protection. DPM is assisting with all of the electrical utility needs for this landscape-altering project. This project is going to change the landscape of Toronto for the better and will provide new spaces for Torontonians and tourists to enjoy for years to come.

The photo below, taken by DPM’s President Nick Iozzo, show the beginning of the building of a new island being created.

We will continue to update the blog as this and other projects develop!
